I am planning a book study with students where they will each need their own copy of a book to read from home. Although we have been working a lot with digital text, they are missing the experience of curling up with a good book and escaping into a wonderful adventure. This book is a wonderful extension on two Literacy Units we will be working on this year. One on survival, and the other on technology. This book brings both of those themes together into one. I am excited to bring this story to them, and spark a love of reading.
