My students are face to face during this pandemic. They come from low income houses and are desperately in need of supplies. They need things to effectively take notes and work on their laptops without the frustration of having nothing to write on and writing on laptops with their fingers.
They need simple things like pencils, notebooks, whiteboard markers and stylist pens. I am a new teacher and did not receive a teacher card this year to buy supplies. I have been buying things out of my pocket, but what they need exceeds what I can do on my own. My students express the need for supplies on a daily basis and I want to do everything I can to provide them the best chance for success.
