This is a technology engineering course. Through this project, the students will think creatively through conception to development. They will think of a 3D scene that is representative of themselves. This could be a scene of a soccer player scoring a goal, themselves hiking with their family at their favorite hiking place, a fantasy scene representing their love of reading, and so much more!
This project will allow them to practice the engineering process, learn new software such as Aspire, learn and work a large laser engraver, and then craft together their pieces to create a 3D scene using wood shop tools. It is truly a comprehensive project involving many skill sets and gives them an accomplished piece they can keep forever.
