I teach at a historically Black middle school in the heart of the Daisy Bates area in Little Rock. My middle schoolers need additional resources to aid them in seeing math in the real world and to help build connections to problem solving through games. I hope to help them catch up from the previous months off due to COVID-19 in a way that is not solely electronic. Most children learn from hands-on manipulatives, counters, puzzles, real world applications, and games in math instead of just rote memorization and formula skills.

About my class
