Students can learn to read music when they have an instrument to apply their knowledge. Piano is wonderful because it can be started at a much younger age than recorder or ukulele. Everyone always wants to play the piano and we only have one that is for the teacher.
These mini keyboards are great because each student can have one in their lap to learn to play at the same time. We use two curriculums that help the students learn in a whole group setting called Music and the Brain and Little Kids Rock.
