Students will use these books during guided reading instruction. These students are reading above grade level in first grade. These books are on a second grade reading level. These books will add enjoyment and learning within their reading lessons. Students will be given a variety of choices with these sets of books. Providing students with a choice in their learning will help them gain ownership within their education. I believe students should have a variety of paper books in their hands on a daily basis to foster the love of reading.
