Our 6th grade students are working from home during this pandemic. Many students have less than ideal work environments at home.
Our students have siblings learning along side them, younger siblings playing, or many other loud scenarios around them while they work. They don't feel confident to turn their microphone on and share their thinking.
Headphones with microphones would help our students to lower the noise floor around them as they learn, participate, and share their thinking during our virtual lessons. Headphones with microphones would give students the opportunity to engage in more academic discourse with their peers.
