Dealing with students diagnosed with Autism has taught me that they are very visual, hands-on learners. These items will help me tap into their senses and make sure I can explain learning concepts to the best of my ability. With these visual aids and sensory items, the students will have a better grasp of the material as they experience it in more functional formats. These items will also help me explain daily situations and help tackle life skills topics to make sure my students become more functional and independent day by day.
