Many of my students have never left the state, for many reasons, but funding is usually the biggest. It is my goal with this project to be able to provide travel like scenarios for my students to help them experience Spanish speaking countries. This would include "trips" to Mexico during Dia de los Muertos and Cinco de Mayo. We would be able to experience Spain during Epiphany and La Semana Santa. Students would create a realistic atmosphere with crafts and projects to help set the scene. They would see more videos and have authentic recipes to try at home to help round out the travel experience.
