The In-school PBIS glass showcase store is based around a core set of principles that students must adhere to when they are inside and outside the school building. The three principles are cooperation, mindfulness, and academic success. When students demonstrate one of these behaviors, he/she is rewarded with a “Fox Rocks”. Students are excited to earn Fox Rocks because they want to have an opportunity to shop at the PBIS store. Students can spend their Fox rocks at the PBIS store on items displayed in the requested glass display case and/or in the PBIS virtual store. Items on display are visible to all students and may encourage students to be more respectful and kind, and fully embody the Fox Rocks pledge. Good behavior becomes second nature as office discipline referrals are reduced and school culture improves.
