To make the Junior High House Program successful, funding is needed. This wish will allow us to purchase materials needed for house competitions, sorting day, and house leader training.
Every Friday from 2:30-3:00, our junior high students come together for their weekly house competition. The multi-purpose room is full of cheering middle school students decked out in their house colors ready to compete for 400 house points. Each week, the competition highlights a different strength to give the opportunity for all students to spend some time in the spotlight for their unique talents. The purpose of the house program is to help our junior high students feel what they most desire; a sense of belonging, and constant celebration of their achievements.
A microphone, projector and screen, items for activities, and decorations in house colors are some of the materials that will help make a difference in the Junior High House Program.
