Because of limited school funding, I have been working solely from my personal laptop. However, as time has gone on the need for a second, larger screen has become apparent. The most challenging thing about being completely virtual are the hundreds of virtual assignments I have to review, grade, and return a week. By having a second monitor I will be able to more efficiently give students feedback on their assignments, which results in better learning outcomes and faster differentiation to struggling students. A second monitor also helps me stay more organized during online instruction, it will also allow me to run videos, presentations, and activities while simultaneously monitoring Google Meet and Zoom for students’ attendance, questions, and comments.
