My students are resilient and have had to be even more resilient in the face of a global pandemic. They are bright and hard-working and kind, but they are struggling. I want to make sure I meet the needs of all students by providing them with access to supplies, games, mindfulness activities, and books to foster a stronger resilience.
The most important thing in my counseling program is to meet the needs of all of my students academically, socially, and emotionally. All students are welcome in my office and I want all students to have the skills they need to be successful in the current climate as well as the future. It is hard to meet the needs of my students without books, games, and resources to provide the background knowledge and supplies to all students. The Donor's Choose program will help provide the supplies needed to support all my students.
