Science is all about exploring and explaining. Rivers and how water affects us is all around us, but it is hard to have students get their hands on real rivers and see in real-time how water can affect the landscape (especially during Minnesota winters). By having stream tables, we can explore on a smaller scale what happens as water runs over land, and students can see in real-time what happens and be able to explain what they see.
Having students get their hands dirty will help them truly explore, learn, and understand our planet and the science that affects it. Thank you for considering donating. We appreciate it.
