Delcastle Tech is part of the New Castle County Vo-Tech School District. Our Nurse Tech Program prepares students to sit for the State Competency Exam for Nurse Aide Certification. Students receive essential training directly related to care of the elderly in long-term care communities. Training includes everything from Anatomy & Physiology, Medical Terminology, infection control, emergency care, ethics, the law, promoting and protecting residents rights, professionalism, employability, policies and procedures, and personal care skills, to name a few. We focus on providing person-centered, holistic care to diverse populations. After clinical training, students who pass their exam are placed on the State’s CNA Registry. We also host a career fair to help them secure employment. Our Mission: To prepare our students to be college and career ready. Thank you for your support ~ investing in the future of healthcare.
