These toys and materials will help my students to achieve more independence in play, communication and cognitive learning. Not always enticed by a toy the first time, my students require practice and reinforcement to learn to play. They need materials that will hold up well and ultimately become fun! It is great to see them begin to enjoy something for the first time! By funding my project you will be helping my students to learn to have fun with toys that come naturally to others. The favorite items will be used to foster communication opportunities throughout the day.
