Virtual learning this year as present new challenges. My preschoolers learn through hands-on experiences and play, sitting in front of the computer is not what a typical day would look like in my classroom. With a gift card to Teacher Pay Teachers it will help me to purchases fun and engaging activities through the computer that also will encourage learning and building on my students academic skills.
Sensory play is a great way to encourage exploration in young learners. With these sensory materials it allows my students to engage in the hands on exploration, problem solving and creativity that comes with using their senses. Sensory play is a great way for students to develop skills such as scooping, searching and pouring, to name a few.
We are currently making the transition into the hybrid model of learning. With some of my little learners coming back into the classroom, it is important to create an environment that is fun, engaging and hands-on, while following protocols to keep all our students safe.
