These supplies will work hand in hand at home for virtual learning and at school for hybrid learning. My students are learning their letters, letter sounds, sight words and how to read this school year. The letter tiles will give the students endless learning opportunities at home to learn how to read and spell words. My students enjoy when they are offered opportunities to engage and use their hands to learn. The books will be available for the students to take home to read themselves, read to a teacher via zoom, or listen to a teacher read during remote learning. Once the students have heard the stories they can use the letter tiles to spell the words. The books will be placed in the book holders while not in use in the classroom.
Both at school for hybrid learning and at home for virtual learning my students will benefit from the dual purposes of using the letter tiles and listening and reading the books.
