We are preparing to return to teaching in person, but this school year will still look so different for my kids- students will all be spaced apart and unable to share materials! This makes creating a warm, welcoming classroom environment extra challenging. This is a big transition for my kindergartners and I want them to feel at home in the classroom! These materials will help me create a warm and welcoming environment with softer lighting and decorations that make students feel at home. Many of my students have not been in school before and I want them to have a positive first year! Many students also dealing with additional stress and anxiety this year. My goal is to create a classroom that allows students to feel calm and relaxed.
