Middle school is a time for exploration, it is a time for students to discover more about what they are passionate about today and to learn more about more about who they will become in the future. As a teacher, it is imperative that we continue to learn so that we can provide the best curriculum and instruction for our students. Funding for this 3-day professional development course on design and programming mobile apps will support my computer science curriculum and instruction. The Mobile CSP course will provide me with more content that I plan to add to my existing computer science course, thus creating different computer science pathways for students to explore. As a teacher, I will learn how to design and program mobile apps that can benefit the community. In the classroom, students will have the opportunity to design an app that they are passionate about.

About my class
