I am teaching ESL ELL (English Language Learners) students in grades 3 & 5 this year. Usually, I'd pull the kids from different classrooms during their small group instruction for our ESL classes daily, but with COVID-19 and social distancing, it is impossible. When kids return to school, I will still be teaching them, but it will be remotely via computers. The only issue (The BIG Issue) is that all the students will be in their classrooms doing individual tasks/projects at the time I see my ESL kids. Without the Headsets, with Microphones, my ESL (ELL) students won't be able to participate, practice language, and learn - every single day!!! In the situation we are right now, Headsets with Microphones are not something extra! It's the necessity!!!! Please, give the opportunity to my ESL kids to have the access to education they deserve!
