In-person hybrid teaching is inevitable for our 2020-2021 school year. Students will return to schools where social distancing will hinder movement in the classroom. It is important that students be allowed safe interactions and movement in the classroom that is not limited to a traditional school desk.
Standing desks will provide opportunities for students to take a break from sitting for the majority of the day. Students can stretch and have some movement. All students, especially those with ADHD, would benefit from these standing desks. Students can alternate for an opportunity to utilize the desks.
