Origami Art materials will make a difference in my students' learning by improving their spatial visualization skills using hands-on learning. Such skills will allow them to comprehend, characterize, and construct in their own words the world around them. In addition to origami we will use craft stix to improve exploring patterns from the basic matching templates which are perfect for building visual discrimination skills. Finally we are going to create crystal stone bead necklaces to improve upon their hand eye coordination. All of these projects will be taken home and shared with family and friend which will give my wonderful students a sense of belonging in their communities.
