Our classroom of 15 energetic first-graders represents a wide range of learners. Our public school draws students exclusively from the neighborhood that our school is located. Many of my students use school as their safe haven and I want my classroom to be just that. The students may not always get the support from home to help them reach their potential and I feel that I need to ensure that I do all that I can to support the success of each child.

About my class

Our classroom of 15 energetic first-graders represents a wide range of learners. Our public school draws students exclusively from the neighborhood that our school is located. Many of my students use school as their safe haven and I want my classroom to be just that. The students may not always get the support from home to help them reach their potential and I feel that I need to ensure that I do all that I can to support the success of each child.
