COVID-19 has impacted so many parts of our daily lives from limiting how many people can do something, to curbing our social interactions/comfortability with one another, and even forcing us into stationary and sedentary routines. Hands on learning and stations to provide engagement activities throughout the class period have been put on hold. Students come into school and face one direction, spaced 6 feet apart, work through online material while they are in school.
I would love to provide them with the opportunity to stand, move, and stretch safely in the classroom. These standing desks would be a perfect tool to implement in our classroom not just this year but in years to come. Adjustable desks like these also allow for a range of positions for students with special needs- which is perfect for an inclusion classroom like my own.
