The materials and supplies I am requesting will greatly benefit my learners. My students are eager to learn and took the challenges of the pandemic head-on . They are a set of unique learners with varying abilities and require modifications to all lessons.I teach in a low-income urban school district. My classroom is diverse and most of my families are low-income families.
The headphones will be used by my students when receiving services outlined on their IEP (e.g.speech, OT) while they continue to be in the classroom. During COVID my students were unable to receive services outside of the classroom and that presented many challenges.
The manipulatives for both math and sentence writing will help my learners engage with hands-on tools to help them progress towards mastering their specific IEP goals. These materials and supplies would mean the world to my students and allow them to access materials and lessons.
