The biggest challenge about teaching remotely is being away physically from students and providing them with authentic learning experiences through the creation, implementation and discussion of experiments. The bonds that are created through in-person learning and interpersonal relationships year after year are irreplaceable. Another challenge being away from the traditional classroom is having technology that enables better remote learning experiences. With a 2 in1 tablet, I will have the technical platform that will enable the utilization of the latest application of STEM simulations, capability to add extensions and current programs that my current device is unable to handle. I believe having the option of amplifying this option will help me to enhance the remote learning experience for all my students.
