IXL would be used to support my students' math independent practice. On a daily basis my students would complete various assignments on IXL so they could build fluency and master essential mathematical skills. IXL is a great online resource because it allows students to work at their own pace. For example, if a student needs additional support, they can focus on 3rd grade skills. Whereas a student needing extensions can work on 5th or 6th grade questions. Additionally, I plan on using the awards IXL provides to motivate students and the analytical tools to gather necessary data to determine how I can best support students’ needs moving forward.
