The year 2020 has brought teachers and students new and ever-changing classroom protocols. One of those being that students are spending the majority of their time at school sitting in their regular chairs at their individual desks. As a teacher, that is hard for me!
My goal is to be able to provide my students with flexible seating options while still following all protocols. The stools will be placed at my small group table where every child meets for differentiated reading and math instruction. Each student will get to enjoy the stools while also being fully engaged in their learning. The stools will provide a chance for the students to move from their chairs, to a different learning space each day. This will make students excited to meet with me in my small group which is where a lot of the "A-ha" moments happen!
