These materials will help my students interact with their surroundings and maintain social-emotional and cognitive growth, which allows them to become more functional and independent. Although they will not be used in home learning, my students are enrolled in a full-time in person class, and these materials will help them succeed both in classroom and community environments. These materials will create a sensory spot for my students to learn how to independently calm themselves, explore their surroundings, and interact with different textures and visual patterns, all of which aid in development.
