My students are an incredibly diverse bunch ranging from 4-12 years old. They come from different ethnic backgrounds with 5 languages spoken across our school.

In our low-income community and Title 1 school, instruments are few and far between. It's no secret that children are captivated by holding instruments in their hands. I would love to teach them songs to sing and play. This skill would offer them a musical ability that could be used for the rest of their life!
