With the transition to virtual learning this school year, everyone has had to make an adjustment. Unfortunately, we have seen a decline in our daily attendance due to a variety of reasons--limited or inconsistent internet access, parent work schedules that are not conducive to online learning, students going to daycare, unstable living situations, or students staying with relatives or family friends that may not know how to support online learning.
However, even with all of those barriers, we still have students who "show" up every day and are actively engaging in their virtual instruction. Even though we cannot meet in person, we want to acknowledge and celebrate our students. This project will help Story School show our gratitude to those students who attend school regularly. Who doesn't get excited about getting a small gift in the mail?!
