Our students are learning virtually everything is done by typing or clicking and dragging a picture or an icon. This type of learning has been a challenge for everyone. By giving each student a stylus, it will allow them to "write" on the computer. Using the stylus will expand our options for the kind of lessons we teach, keeping the students engaged, and learning. The stylus use will also ensure students will not lose the writing skills they had acquired when we were in the classroom. With the stylus, students will be able to write and color on the computer. It will bring back a sense of normalcy to their learning.
