My student's favorite part of the day is center time! Each day the students choose which center they would like to play in. During this time we focus on pre-kindergarten skills and learn how to play with our friends. The materials requested will enrich this time for my students by allowing the children to have a variety of materials to engage with!
I need your help in making our learning centers more interactive and fun-filled! The Match It Pocket Chart will help increase student engagement during large and small group lessons. It will play an important role in children's bilingual language development. The Math, Science, and Literacy manipulatives will be used during mini-lessons and center time. Having access to a microscope, binoculars, and a balance will allow the children to explore natural materials in our science center. Math, science, and arts are an important part of learning for children in their early years because these areas provide vital life skills and prepare them for future learning. Having access to materials such as Pom Poms, Craft Sticks, and dot markers will provide the opportunity for my student's imaginations to run wild in the art center. Having a variety of accessories in the block center will allow the children's block structures to come to life, allowing them to create stories and build language while playing!
The donations to this project will help us bring materials to the classroom that will spark language development and engagement! My students would be so appreciative as will I. Thank you for your help.
