This Lakeshore light table and sensory tray will allow my students to explore using all of their senses! Preschoolers have active imaginations and have a natural curiosity to all things around us. My biggest goal as a pre-k teacher is to encourage active learning within my classroom.
Every sensory activity helps children expand their vocabulary and acquire new language skills by describing what they see, hear, and touch. I will be using this table to explore letters and words with clear tiles. I will also be using it to retell stories using pictures, and other tactile materials and props.
