Providing dry erase boards and markers will allow my Kindergarten students the opportunity to practice letter and number formations that just can’t be duplicated while we are away from our classroom. These resources will be used in so many ways I don’t even know where to start! Their fine motor development, creativity, number sense, letter structure, and sight word practice are just a few skills that will be enhanced by having these boards in their hands.
During our Google Meets, I will be able to quickly assess student responses. This will allow me to immediately adjust instruction to meet their individual and whole group needs. By having these items in each child’s hands, it will allow me to level the playing field for all of my students.
