Becoming National Board Certified will allow me to improve my teaching skills and have a lasting impact on my students and families. Going through this process will advance my students academic skills and decrease the achievement gap. I am a teacher in North Carolina where the teacher budget is low, so I'm seeking help to pay for my National Board Certification. Based on my reflections, peer observations, and assessments of my teaching practices , I will be able to target my students needs. Having my National Board certification will allow me to share strategies to implement what I have learned in my daily instruction.
