These manipulatives will make distance learning more interactive. Students at this age may have some difficulty developmentally with abstract ideas unless there is a visual component. They need to touch and manipulate objects to help them make meaningful. My students will really benefit from having hands-on experiences to understand and remember math ideas that will help them in life. The manipulatives will help my students engage more of their brain in learning and make math meaningful to them. They will be able to manipulate the materials to better understand time, fractions, money and measurement
