Kids are fascinated by books- the pictures, the words, the stories. As they learn to read, they like a variety of books, including fiction and non-fiction, books about animals, places, and books about people they can relate to. Kids all have different interests and I want to provide books that all kids can enjoy. The more kids read, the easier it becomes for them. I want to provide a large variety of books for my students. They read in the classroom as well as take books home to read with parents. Reading is what 1st grade is all about!

About my class
