Sensory learning for young students is a great way for them to construct their own understanding of the materials and objects around them. Using their hands, ears and eyes to understand how some materials work, look and sound is a great concept to develop at a young age! I would love to see my students have more opportunities to be able to use sensory bins even at a distance.
Students cannot work on sensory items together currently, but if we had more options I would be able to make individual bins for the students and they would all be able to benefit from the sensory exploration that they really need!
