Our students are projected to return to in-person learning mid January. These materials will allow my students to feel comfortable in the classroom setting once again. Having a variety of flexible seating options will give my students choices and provide them with a sense of comfort in the classroom. Especially during this time, in the pandemic, these students have gotten used to an at-home class setting. Returning to school could make these students have anxious feelings. Research has shown that flexible seating is beneficial for student learning; not only for mental health but educationally as well.
