I plan to use the iPad to annotate and explain the materials I am using to teach remotely. It is difficult to communicate exactly what I mean on documents or Google Slides at times, and it would be easier if I could use an iPad and Apple Pencil to show the students. My students are visual learners, and this would help alleviate some of the frustration they are feeling with remote learning. This will also help me later in the spring as we return to school in a hybrid model because I will be able to project the iPad on the board in my classroom and show students at home what I am saying simultaneously. It will also serve me once the pandemic is over for class discussions because I will be able to have students model assignments on the iPad during class. It will be more engaging for my students than writing on the board.
