My hybrid students will use the Chromebooks to access the digital learning components of our District's ELA and Math programs and create engaging digital products, which utilize 21st-century skills and prepare them for success in a rapidly changing, digital society.
My students will be able to access programs like Success Maker, the District's Tier III digital ELA intervention, and Zearn, the digital component of the District's Math program. Additionally, my students will access other District applications such as Google Classroom-Slides-Docs, BrainPOPjr., Worldbook Online, etc.
It is important to acknowledge that my students are already interested in and engaged in using technology. Technology makes teaching and learning more effective. It improves engagement and knowledge retention as well as encourages individual learning and collaboration. Students will be able to benefit from countless online resources to enhance the traditional way of learning.
The Chromebooks will provide equity among the hybrid and remote students as well.
