This year, I am needing to make sure to have two sets of instruments for classrooms so while I'm using one set of glockenspiels, the other set is disinfecting for future use. Usually, with my older learners I am able to play recorder, this year we are unable to do that. I am hoping to get my learners away from their computers for a while and enjoy the physical part of music making. They will be learning to read notation as they play and create ensembles. I am also on a cart and not in my physical classroom, so it is very important for the instruments to be transportable and able to handle the amount of disinfecting they will go through.
