My students are doing great with remote learning. They are now in the Algebra units where they will need graphing calculators to graph equations and perform other advanced algebra problems. If we were in school, they would be using the school graphing calculators which are the Casio models. I plan to show them how to use the calculators throughout our daily, hour long classes. I plan to get the calculators to them by dropping them off to their houses on a Saturday or Sunday. Most of my second semester curriculum requires a graphing calculator. The online graphing calculators are not easy to use. My students will need to have experience in using an actual graphing calculator when they take the NYS Algebra regents in June.
