All the materials and books I have included on my list are important to have within my classroom. Every day I research and listen to my students for the best picture books and novels out there. My classroom library is a place that I want my students to feel represented and enjoy reading at. I love to read aloud books to students in the morning or after lunch to get them refocused in learning. All of these books have been chosen with my students in mind. I oftentimes think picture books are the best to use when it comes to teaching specific skills or life lessons. In addition, all the cardstock paper will allow me to create task cards for students to use during station rotations in Math, Reading, and Writing!
