My classroom supplies are bare bones right now. Usually my school allots each teacher a stipend for supplies, but unfortunately because of the budget crisis that we're facing, the stipend is not available. I don't consider myself a "worksheet teacher." Whenever possible, I like to introduce hands-on projects that get students thinking and creating. They can't create without supplies though! It would be wonderful if they could all have a set of markers to keep in their desk. I also would like to have multicultural markers on hand, so students can draw images that represent their unique identities. Finally, I'd like to have colorful dry-erase markers that will be used as an incentive to motivate and reward good classroom behavior.
