I'm a very hyper person, so I can relate to 6th graders in the sense that they don't want to be sitting at a desk all day long. With COVID restrictions this year, it's made it difficult to incorporate flexible seating in my classroom, so I'd like to take this time now to build my flexible seating for my 2021-22 classroom. I would like to raise money for a collaborative floor workspace. I think that this will encourage students to work together, while also having the opportunity to work around the room. Sitting at a desk all day is not something that 6th graders look forward to, so I hope that I can continue to build on my flexible seating.
