I have several students who do not have printers at home to print colored pictures for project based learning activities. Providing funding for ink allows all students access to completing projects linked to science concepts and preparing for their STAAR test at the end of the school year. I prefer to provide my students with necessary supplies to empower them in their learning and allow them be creative. The markers and highlighters are also necessary for small group projects. Without these supplies my students are not able to follow their creative idea and solidify their learning.
