Since everything initially shut down due to COVID last spring, my students have not had any hands on experiences in the music room. Carl Orff, a well respected philosopher of music education, once said, "Tell me, I forget. Show me, I remember. Involve me, I understand." In my classroom's current state, it is very difficult to involve my students in making music on instruments. I want to provide my students with a music education that helps them truly understand musical concepts so they may become more tuneful, beatful, and artful. Rhythm sticks, drums, and boomwhackers are not only easy to clean, they also appeal to students of all learning types. With your help, I can turn my students' school year around. Help me bring these exciting resources into my classroom!

About my class
